Toyota Prototype Building Warehouse

Devon Industrial Group (DIG) served as construction manager-at-risk on an office building expansion to the existing research and development facility.

The 130,000-square-foot, three-story expansion houses mixed-use facilities to support the relocation of TEMA’s purchasing and supplier engineering teams. The new construction will feature 100,000 square feet of office space and a 30,000 square foot supplier center.

The expanded office buildin accommodates 385 employees with supporting amenities for collaboration and conferencing. TEMA has set a sustainability expectation for the office building expansion to obtain LEED Platinum certification. To support the LEED goals, DIG constructed a storm water harvesting system onsite, installed photovoltaic panels to accommodate solar power and installed a field of geothermal wells to support climate control inside the new building, among other sustainability efforts.
