Rick Ryan

Starting as an estimating intern within the organization, Rick is now the Operations Manager for Devon Industrial Group and oversees all projects. Rick brings more than fourteen years of experience in the construction industry to the team, including a variety of diverse, large and complex projects. He has a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Eastern Michigan University.

As the Operations Manager, he coordinates work with owners, manages schedules and subcontractor procurement efforts, as well as facilitates UAW relationships. Rick coordinates with estimating and operations for seamless transition in the field. Rick is currently working in multiple market segments, including: Mobility, Commercial, Federal, Industrial, Self-Perform, Demolition and Research & Development.

Rick also manages our Small Constructions Solutions services, which provides clients with 24-7 on-site support for the company’s operations with full transparency. DIG currently provides these services both at research and engineering sites, as well as heavy industrial facilities.

Rick also provides operational support with:

• Developing long-term plans and initiatives to exceed corporate goals
• Managing project budgets and implementing lean savings opportunities
• Anticipating and identifying potential problems on-site and developing the best solution for the project
• Organizing internal and project teams to promote creativity and provide cross-training opportunities
• Coordinating with leadership and providing support for all initiatives within the organization
